We are pleased to offer the following printing and scanning services:

• Prints from 35mm slides and negatives;
• Prints from digital image files;
• High-resolution scans of 35mm slides and negatives.

Printing

All printing is done on Epson's highly regarded Stylus Photo 2100, using genuine Epson paper and UltraChrome™ pigment inks, for superb fade-free results (up to 75 years based on Epson's accelerated lightfast testing).

Digital images can be supplied on CD-R, DVD, USB Flash Drive, CompactFlash Card, SmartMedia Card, SD Memory Card or Memory Stick. Image format can be tiff or jpeg. Acceptable minimum image size is as follows:

• 10x8 (25x20) 2000px by 1600px min, 3000px by 2400px preferred
• 14x11 (35x28) 2800px by 2200px min, 4200px by 3300px preferred
• 16x12 (40x30) 3200px by 2400px min, 4800px by 3600px preferred
• 19x13 (48x33) 3800px by 2600px min, 5700px by 3900px preferred

Scanning

35mm film scanning is carried out with a Minolta Dimage Scan Elite 5400 scanner. Each scan is optimised for the final print size, and basic cropping, colour and exposure correction are carried out, to ensure the best printed result. Custom cropping and image manipulation is available for an extra charge. Film for scanning can be supplied as mounted slides or strips of up to 6 negatives or unmounted slides. If you simply want your images scanned but not printed, digital images of up to 8100px by 5400px (41 megapixels!) can be produced on CD-R or DVD.
